November 1st 2010 will forever be known in San Francisco Giants history. It was the clubs first world series win in over 50 years and a day for all Giants fans and players never to forget. With a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 9th inning there was only one more Rangers player needed to clentch the World Series Win. Giants closer proceeded to throw a strike 3 swinging pitch to Nelson Cruz to end the game and cement the 2010 Giants into the record books. Shortly following the win Giants fans all over the country rejoiced and started celebrating the teams seemingly impossible feat. A team of nobodies and has beens did the impossible. It was a true underdog story. David and Galiath, and David wins! November 3rd 2010, the Giants parade draws record crowds as over 1 million people crowd the streets of San Francisco on a parade route that was used in the home coming for the Giants 52 years ago. It was truely spectacular. It was breath taking to see the million fans showing their love for a team that represents the city so well and represents a fan club so deserving of a win. November 3rd will forever be known in the city of San Francisco as "Giants Baseball Day", that is until the Giants win again. Go Giants!

I don't think the Giants winning the World Series is a laughing matter at all, and I don't think it is appropriate on this blog. I have been waiting for one of my team's to win a championship since I was 5.
